Ferndale Farm can be found in the gorgeous Norfolk village of little Barningham where Elinor Betts has been cheese making for nearly two decades!
At Ferndale Farm they make proper old-fashioned farmhouse cheese. Their milk comes from the pedigree Holstein Friesian cows found in the flint walled village of Binham on the North Norfolk Coast. The girls graze the lush meadows in and around the village … if you drive visit they are easy to spot!
Norfolk Dapple is a hard cow’s milk cheese with a dappled rind. Smooth and creamy, cheddar-like cheese with a hint of nuttiness in the aftertaste and oh my days this is marbled with port!
A delicious mature and full favoured cheese with a dry and hard texture and with port marbling.
